The Bay Area Math Project and the Santa Clara Valley Math Project have joined together to design an ongoing series of virtual mathematics professional development for K-12 teachers. We will host them on Zoom. They are FREE this academic year. For more information and to register visit the link next to each workshop description. The elementary sessions are separate; you may register for as many as you want! The secondary sessions on modeling are a series; you need only register once.

MATHEMATICAL MODELING with FUNCTIONS After discussing what mathematical modeling is at the high school level, participants in these five 3-hour sessions will experience mathematical modeling with functions, including at least one activity that focuses on a social justice topic. Dates: September 11, October 9, November 13, December 11, and January 8, 2022. From 9 am to 12 pm each day. Presenters: Joanne Rossi Becker from SCVMP For questions or more information contact Joanne at [email protected]
